Trichome Chaser Genetics
South African bred genetics with strong American roots. Trichome Chaser's gear focuses on fuel and funk, built from OG, Chem and Sour Diesel types.
THC Tribe
THC Tribe produces high-quality cannabis genetics built on a lot of American foundations. What separates THC Tribe from those who just talk the talk, is their constant transparency in showcasing how their strains grow.
Love of Landrace
It's no secret that most of today's "indica" and "sativa" seeds are hybrids, made suitable for the average grower. Ryan's work with Love of Landrace takes the opposite approach, this is a feral preservation project. Great for breeders looking to create truly unique F1 seeds.
Frequently Asked Question
Q: Do these breeders make their own seeds?
A: Yes. We vet all our breeders to ensure they are actually breeding the strains they release and are not selling white label cannabis seeds.
Q: Are all your listed breeders local?
A: Seed Stash priorities local breeders, but not all breeders sold through the website are local. We also source highly trusted international genetics.
Q: I've seen cannabis seeds for cheaper online, why are these breeders more
expensive?
A: Most of the budget seeds you find from other online retailers are white label. White label seeds are made in bulk with very little attention to detail or quality. Think TEMU for agriculture.
Q: Do you stock white label 'breeders'?
A: No we don't, and we never will. White label seeds are something we strongly oppose, and instead encourage all growers to start with quality seeds, not mass produced mediocrity.
Q: Why don't you stock EU breeders like Fast Buds, Barney's Farm etc.
A: Without painting all EU breeders with the same brush, many of the most popular European breeders make use of unethical breeding practices solely to make money. We will only stock breeders we can stand by.
A Buyer's Guide To Choosing Breeders
Buying cannabis seeds from a new breeder can be exciting, but it can also sometimes feel like a gamble. Here's some quick tips to buying cannabis seeds where the breeder is the focal point, rather than one particular strain.
Find A Breeder That Thinks Like You
Everyone has their own preferences in cannabis. Some of us are hash makers looking for strains with maximum returns. Others want potency, or perhaps flavour.
Breeders will often create seeds that represent their own preferences. Finding a breeder that likes the same kinds of traits as you do helps ensure you get something inline with your goals.
Local Breeders Can Be Just As Good As International
A breeder is as good as his starting stock and his subsequent testing. In the earlier days of the South African cannabis industry, breeding was limited by local's access to high quality international genetics.
Today, there are more than a dozen South African breeders who have created their own breeding projects using high quality genetics with well-thought out selections that give end results indistinguishable from a lot of the American gear.Â
Trust Transparency and Proof
It's easy to get caught up in marketing tactics and buy into the wrong breeder. That's not the case here on Seed Stash, where our breeders are vetted for quality assurance purposes, but in general the best way to gauge whether someone is worth supporting is by looking at what they share online.
Are they all talk with nothing to show, or are they showcasing their hunts, their selections, etc. Social media is a great tool for finding this kind of information.
